Rothoff's Park Sunset
Have you ever tried bracketing three exposures or more, close to a lot of leaves or things that move about constantly? Each exposure will contain different information, so after merging them you will end up with so called ghost artifacts. Long shutter speeds will blur them out, but when you don't have that option it often create great problems. Photomatix has an option that lets you fix it, but it doesn't work very well in cases like these, since it will smear the surrounding areas. The only solution is a lot of blending and layer masking in Photoshop.
The sunset was beautiful and I wanted to frame it properly with an interesting foreground. You don't see a lot of HDRs like these because of the problem mentioned above, but I think that makes it all the more worth while. As an interesting touch, you can see the local district heating plant with its tall chimney towering above the trees.
